WPW10534155 Whirlpool Refrigerator Gray Kickplate Grille
The Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Toe Grille, Grey attaches to the bottom front of the refrigerator and prevents objects from entering the machine compartment. If the existing grille is broken or cracked and will no longer attach to the appliance properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Loosen the screws that hold the freezer door and pull it off of the drawer then push the drawer in. Place the new grille into the existing cutouts and snap it in. Installing this part will not require hand tools, disassembly or repair experience.

Replacing the Whirlpool Refrigerator Kickplate Grille, Gray (WPW10534155)
Tools You’ll Need:
#1 Phillips screwdriver and flathead screwdriver
Step 1: Unplug the Whirlpool refrigerator from the power source. Make sure that it is completely disconnected before starting any repairs.
Step 2: Grab your #1 Phillips screwdriver and remove the screws along the edge of the kickplate grille. There may be several screws in different places, depending on the model of the refrigerator.
Step 3: Once all of the screws have been removed, place your flathead screwdriver at the top of the grille and gently pry it off of the refrigerator. Be careful not to damage the kickplate as you do this.
Step 4: Once the kickplate grille is removed, take the new grill and line it up with the old one. Start by inserting the screws into the holes on the new grille.
Step 5: Using your #1 Phillips screwdriver, tighten all of the screws on the new grille.
Step 6: Test the new grille to make sure it is secure and properly installed.
Step 7: Plug the refrigerator back in, and your repair is complete! You have successfully replaced the Whirlpool Refrigerator Kickplate Grille, Gray (WPW10534155).
