DIY Guide to Replacing a WPW10489075 Whirlpool Door Shelf Bin
Tools you will need:
• Phillips head screwdriver
• 5/16" nut driver
• Flat-head screwdriver
• Pliers
Instructions:
1. First, unplug your refrigerator and remove the contents of the door shelf bin.
2. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the three screws located on the top of the bin.
3. Pull the bin out of the housing and set it aside.
4. Using the 5/16" nut driver, loosen the two screws securing the housing to the refrigerator.
5. Slide the housing out and set it aside.
6. Remove the old shelf bin from the housing and set aside.
7. Place the new shelf bin into the housing and secure it in place with the two screws that were removed earlier.
8. Insert the housing back in the opening and tighten the two screws.
9. Secure the shelf bin in place using the three screws on the top.
10. Plug your refrigerator back in and replace the contents of the shelf bin.
