WPW10319027 Whirlpool Dishwasher Lower Spray Arm
This Dishwasher Lower Wash Arm Assembly rotates and sprays to evenly distribute water during the washing cycle. If your spray arm is damaged or will not turn, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Includes spray shields. To access the part, remove the lower rack from the dishwasher and remove the screw from the center of the old arm. Installing this part requires minimal tools, minor disassembly and no repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Replacing a WPW10319027 Whirlpool Spray Arm
Tools Needed:
1. Philips head screwdriver
2. Pliers
Instructions:
1. Unplug your dishwasher before working on it.
2. Remove the lower dish rack.
3. Locate the spray arm. It should be underneath the lower dish rack.
4. Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the spray arm in place.
5. Carefully pull the spray arm off the dishwasher shaft.
6. Use pliers to gently loosen and then remove the nut from the spray arm.
7. Take a new spray arm and place the nut securely onto the shaft.
8. Put the new spray arm in place and use the Philips head screwdriver to secure it with the screws.
9. Return the dish rack to its original position.
10. Plug the dishwasher back in, and turn it on to test the new spray arm.
