DIY Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10289145 Oven Rack
1. Unplug your oven from the electrical outlet and turn off the circuit breaker before starting this project.
2. Remove the oven rack by pulling it out of the oven and place it on a stable surface like a table or countertop.
3. Carefully remove the screws that hold the oven rack in place with a Phillips screwdriver.
4. You may need to use a putty knife or other tool to release the clips that secure the rack to the oven wall.
5. Slide the old oven rack out of the oven cavity.
6. Place the new Whirlpool WPW10289145 oven rack into the oven cavity, making sure to line up the screw holes of the new rack with those of the oven.
7. Secure the oven rack to the oven walls with the screws you removed in step 3.
8. Push the oven rack back into the oven cavity until it is securely in place.
9. Plug your oven back into the outlet or turn the circuit breaker back on.
10. Test your newly-installed oven rack to make sure it is working properly.
