WPW10122078 Whirlpool Endcap
The Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Drawer Support End Cap snaps into place on the appliance’s pantry drawer to help contain the items inside. Note that your pantry drawer has two end caps (sold separately); this part is designed specifically to be used on the left side (from the point of view of looking into the appliance). This item is constructed of durable white plastic and can be used to easily replace a broken or missing part. Installation will not require tools or repair experience, but does involve minor disassembly of the refrigerator. Remember to unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: Also consider replacing the right-hand Drawer Support End Cap (item WPW10121977) at the same time that you install this part.

DIY Instructions for Replacing a Whirlpool WPW10122078 Endcap
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall socket and shut off the water supply line at the wall.
2. Locate the endcap at the back of the refrigerator, typically located on either side of the compressor.
3. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the endcap to the frame of the refrigerator.
4. Remove the endcap gently and set aside.
5. Place the new Whirlpool WPW10122078 endcap into place and secure it with the screws.
6. Plug back in the refrigerator to the wall socket and switch the water supply line back on.
7. Test your refrigerator to make sure all safety precautions were met and it works properly.
