The Dishwasher Tine Row Clip holds the tine row in place in the upper dishrack of your appliance. DIY Steps to Replace a WPW10082853 Whirlpool Dishwasher Tine Pivot Clip
1. Unplug your dishwasher from the electrical outlet and turn off the water supply to your dishwasher.
2. Slide out your dishwasher and locate the existing pivot clip.
3. Using a flathead screwdriver, gently pry off the existing pivot clip from the dishwasher.
4. Take the WPW10082853 replacement pivot clip and insert into place underneath the dishwasher tines.
5. Tighten the clip with either a flathead screwdriver or pliers, depending on the size of the clip.
6. Ensure that the clip is securely in place and then slide the dishwasher back into place.
7. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and turn on the water supply.
8. Run the dishwasher with a cycle to ensure the new pivot clip is installed correctly.
