WP8299778 Whirlpool Timer
The 60Hz Dryer Timer controls the electrical components of the appliance and duration of its drying cycles. If any of the contacts in your appliance’s timer have burned out, or if the motor inside the unit shorted out and the timer is no longer functioning, you can easily replace the assembly with this part. Installing the timer will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
