Replacing the WP74011829 Whirlpool Dual Burner Ignitor
1. Disconnect power to the range by unplugging it or flipping the circuit breaker switch.
2. Open the oven door and pull off the storage drawer.
3. Remove the bottom oven panel by removing the screws at the very bottom.
4. Locate the dual burner and igniters on the back panel.
5. Unhook the wires from the old igniters and unscrew them from the back panel with a Phillips head screwdriver.
6. Slide the new WP74011829 Whirlpool Dual Burner Ignitor into the back panel. Connect the wires to the new igniter and tighten the screws using the Phillips head screwdriver.
7. Reinstall the oven bottom panel, storage drawer, and power to the range.
8. Turn on the burner and test the new igniter by pushing down on the gas valve. The igniter should spark and light the flame.
