WP74011666 Whirlpool Burner Knob
The Range Surface Control Knob allows you to adjust the heating level of your cooktop surface burner. This knob is stainless steel and measures approx. 2" D. This small part is labeled with the words "High" and "Low". Designed specifically to be used with Jenn-Air® ranges, this small metal part is sold separately. Replacing the knob will not require tools, disassembly or repair experience. To remove the old knob, simply pull it straight off its post.

The following parts are replaced by this product

1. Start by unplugging the appliance and turning off the gas or power supply to reduce the risk of shock and injury.
2. Access the back of the knob by removing the screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Remove the existing knob by sliding it straight off the shaft.
4. Loosen the nut which holds the Whirlpool WP74011666 KNOB- BURN in place by turning the latch counterclockwise until it comes off.
5. Once the bolt is loosened, you can now easily remove the broken part.
6. Install the new Whirlpool WP74011666 KNOB- BURN by securing it to the shaft with the nut.
7. Tighten the nut by turning it clockwise.
8. Line up the screw holes of the knob with the hole in the burner.
9. Secure the knob in place with the screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
10. Re-connect the gas or power supply, plug the appliance in and make sure the knob functions as intended.
