Tools and Materials Needed:
• Phillips head screwdriver
• New handle assembly (Whirlpool W11542651)
Instructions:
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet and remove all food items from the freezer section of the refrigerator.
2. Locate the screws holding the existing handle in place. There are two screws that should be visible, which can be removed using a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Carefully remove the existing handle. If there is any residue or debris left behind, use a damp cloth to wipe it clean.
4. Take the new handle assembly (Whirlpool W11542651) and align the holes located at the base with the holes on the fridge.
5. Secure the new handle assembly by inserting and tightening the two screws into the holes.
6. Once the new handle assembly is securely in place, plug the refrigerator back into the power outlet and re-fill the freezer section with the food items.
