How to Replace the Whirlpool W11517331 Knob
1. Unplug your Whirlpool range from the power source.
2. Lift the cooktop grates up and off the surface of your stove.
3. Remove the existing knob from the front of the stove. To do this, push in the small metal tab on the back of the knob then pull out the knob. The knob should come out without much effort.
4. Place the new Whirlpool W11517331 knob into position by aligning the metal tab with the slot in the front of the stove.
5. Push down on the knob until the metal tab snaps into place.
6. Put the cooktop grates back in place and plug the power cord back into the wall.
7. Test the new knob by turning it to ensure proper function.
