Replacing the Whirlpool W11430645 VALVE
Step 1: Shut off the power to the washing machine. Unplug it from the wall or turn off the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Remove the hoses that connect to the valve. Disconnect the hoses from the valve, using pliers if necessary.
Step 3: Remove the screws that hold the valve in place. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws and pull out the valve.
Step 4: Insert the new valve. Make sure the alignments on the valve are correct.
Step 5: Install the new screws to secure the valve into place.
Step 6: Reconnect the hoses to the new valve.
Step 7: Turn on the power to the washing machine.
