Replacing the Whirlpool W11401795 TRAY-COOK
DIY Instructions
1. Gather your tools and supplies. You'll need a power screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, a putty knife, pliers, and replacement tray-cook.
2. Unplug your appliance and pull it out away from the wall.
3. Take the power screwdriver and remove all the screws securing the back panel of the oven. Once the panel has been removed carefully detach the wires and connectors.
4. Look inside the back panel and you will see the old tray-cook. Use a putty knife or any hard plastic blade to loosen the old tray-cook.
5. Take the pliers to remove the screws holding down the tray-cook. If there are no screws, just pull it out gently.
6. Take the new tray-cook and place it in the same position as the old one. Secure it with the necessary screws.
7. Plug the wiring back in and make sure all the connections are secure.
8. Put back the back panel and use a Phillips head screwdriver to secure it with the screws.
9. Push the oven back in its place and plug it back in.
10. Test the oven to make sure the tray-cook is working properly.
