Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from the wall power outlet.
Step 2: Carefully remove the door from the refrigerator by first removing any screws that are holding it in place. Once the screws have been removed, pull out the bottom of the door to release the hinge pins.
Step 3: With the door disconnected from the refrigerator, set it aside.
Step 4: Now locate the existing door hinge and remove the screws that are holding it in place.
Step 5: Take the new Whirlpool W11401116 Hinge and secure it in place with the screws you removed earlier.
Step 6: Use a level to make sure the hinge is properly aligned.
Step 7: Once the hinge is secured in place, attach the door back to the refrigerator. Make sure the hinge pins are properly aligned and the door is securely attached.
Step 8: Turn on the power to the refrigerator and check that the door is properly closing and sealing.
