1. Unplug your Whirlpool washer before beginning any repairs.
2. Remove the top front panel of your washer. This can be done by removing the screws located along the edge of the top panel.
3. Once the top panel is removed, you can access and remove the tub seal.
4. To remove the seal, you'll need to loosen and detach the four screws located near the lip of the seal.
5. Carefully remove the old seal and replace it with the new Whirlpool W11252794 seal.
6. Tighten the four screws securely in place to secure the new seal.
7. Reattach the top panel of your washer and screw back the screws along its edges.
8. Plug the washer back in and turn it on to test the seal to make sure it is in a proper working order.
