DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool W11231156 Panel Control
1. Unplug the appliance before you start any work on it.
2. Remove all screws in and around the door, using a screwdriver.
3. Remove the panel control by carefully pulling it away from the door.
4. Disconnect any wiring that is connected to the back of the panel control.
5. Insert the new panel control into place and tighten the screws.
6. Reconnect the wiring to the back of the new panel control.
7. Test the new panel control to make sure it is working properly.
8. Plug in the appliance and turn it on.
9. Close the door and tighten any screws that may have come loose during the repair process.
