DIY Steps to Replace the Whirlpool W11222065 Endcap
1. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Make sure to leave the appliance unplugged for the entire duration of the repair.
2. Remove the top grille of the appliance, by unscrewing the 4 screws that hold it in place.
3. Remove the front panel of the appliance and set aside.
4. Slide out the broken endcap. Use your hand or a flathead screwdriver to carefully loosen it from the appliance.
5. Place the new endcap in the same spot as the old one and firmly press it into place.
6. Secure the endcap with the screws that were removed from the grille.
7. Replace the front panel and top grille, and make sure that all screws are securely fastened.
8. Plug the appliance back into the wall socket and test the newly replaced endcap.
