1. Begin by preparing your oven for the replacement process. Unplug the appliance from the wall and turn off the power at the circuit breaker. Remove all racks, accessories, and removable parts from inside the oven.
2. Next, locate the oven rack on the underside of the oven. You should see two screws that are used to hold the rack in place.
3. Carefully remove the screws with a screwdriver and then gently pull the rack out of the oven.
4. To replace the rack, take the new Whirlpool W11218798 RACK-OVEN and slide it into the oven. Ensure that the rack is securely in place before proceeding.
5. Reinsert the screws to hold the rack in place and tighten them securely with a screwdriver.
6. Put all removable parts back in their respective places, plug the oven back into its socket, and restore the power at the circuit breaker.
7. Lastly, test out the oven and carefully inspect the rack to ensure it is properly secured.
