DIY Instructions on How to Replace a Whirlpool W11214957 GRATE-KIT
1. Unplug the appliance and shut off the water supply to the dishwasher.
2. Remove the screws from the top of the dishwasher door.
3. Open the dishwasher door to access the interior.
4. Locate the grate-kit on the inside of the tub near the bottom.
5. Remove the screws holding the grate-kit in place and carefully remove the grate-kit.
6. Place the new grate-kit in the same location, ensuring that all four feet are firmly in contact with the bottom of the dishwasher tub.
7. Secure the new grate-kit into place with the previously removed screws.
8. Close the dishwasher door, and secure with the screws.
9. Reconnect the water supply to the dishwasher, and plug the appliance back in.
10. Test the dishwasher to ensure it works properly with the new grate-kit installed.
