Replacing the Whirlpool W11213915 Ring-Turn
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug washing machine or disconnect power.
2. Gently pull off the lid of the washing machine by lifting it away from the top of the machine.
3. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the four screws that secure the front panel in place.
4. Pull the front panel of the washing machine away from the machine.
5. Locate the ring-turn mechanism and its mount on the back of the main tub.
6. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the mounting plate in place.
7. Pull the mounting plate and the ring-turn mechanism away from the washing machine.
8. Carefully remove the old ring-turn from its mount and set aside.
9. Place the new Whirlpool W11213915 ring-turn into the mounting plate.
10. Secure the mounting plate with the two screws that were removed earlier.
11. Replace the front panel of the washing machine to its original position and secure it with the four screws that were removed earlier.
12. Gently push the lid back onto the top of the machine.
13. Plug in washing machine or reconnect power.
14. Test the washing machine to ensure the new ring-turn is working properly.
