Step by Step DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool Microwave Charcoal Filter (W11213882)
1. Unplug your microwave from the wall and place it on a flat surface.
2. Open up the top of the microwave to expose the charcoal filter. It’s usually located above the air vent.
3. Remove the old filter by releasing the clips that are securing it into place.
4. Place the new charcoal filter in the same spot the old one was.
5. Secure the new filter with the clips or screws required.
6. Plug the microwave back in and test it out to make sure the new filter is working properly.
7. Replace the top of the microwave and enjoy your newly-replaced charcoal filter!
