Replacing the Whirlpool W11204377 GRATE-KIT
DIY Instructions:
1. Be sure to disconnect your Whirlpool range from all power sources before beginning this repair.
2. Remove the outer grates from the range top.
3. Unscrew the burner clips from each of the four burners. Once removed, set aside the clips for future use.
4. Lift off the burner caps and discard them.
5. Pull out the burner heads and the offending grate.
6. Take the new Whirlpool W11204377 GRATE-KIT. This package contains two identical replaceable grates with their own burner clamp and a screw.
7. Place the new grate back over the burner head and use the screw included to secure it in place.
8. Reattach the burner clips to the new grates using the screws.
9. Align the outer grates back into their original positions over the burner heads.
10. Reconnect all power sources to your Whirlpool range, and you are finished!
