The following parts are replaced by this product

1. Turn off the electricity to your Whirlpool Washer and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
2. Pull your washer away from the wall, and locate the control board cover located on the back side of the appliance.
3. Remove the screws from the control board cover and place them in a safe place. Carefully remove the control board cover, being careful not to damage any wires.
4. Disconnect all wires from the W11188527 Whirlpool Washer Electronic Control Board. Be sure to take note of which wires go where for easier installation later.
5. Remove the mounting screws from the old control board and set aside.
6. Place the new W11188527 Whirlpool Washer Electronic Control Board into the same mounting location as the old board.
7. Reconnect the removed wires to the new control board and secure with wire nuts or the original terminal connections.
8. Place the control board cover securely over the new board and re-attach using the removed mounting screws.
9. Plug your washer back into the wall outlet, and turn the power back on. Run a diagnostic cycle to make sure your new control board is working properly.
10. Enjoy your newly replaced Whirlpool Washer Electronic Control Board!
