DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool W11122880 KNOB
1. Unplug your dryer from the wall outlet. Make sure to wear safety goggles when working near electrical components.
2. Remove the screws which secure the control panel to the dryer. Set aside the screws after.
3. Gently pull off the control panel. Be careful when sliding the panel off as it is quite heavy and fragile.
4. Locate the worn out knob and unscrew it from the stem.
5. Install the new Whirlpool W11122880 knob in the same spot and gently secure it with the stem.
6. Place the control panel back on the dryer and reattach using the removed screws.
7. Plug the dryer back into the wall outlet and test the knob.
