1. Begin your repair by unplugging the Whirlpool W11087199 COVR-INLET from your main power supply. This will ensure it is not able to cause an electrical shock during the repair process.
2. Locate the two screws that are holding the cover inlet on the appliance. Use a screwdriver and undo these screws to allow the inlet to be removed.
3. Carefully remove the wire harness which is connected to the inlet, noting which wires are connected to which slot. This will ensure that you can put the new inlet back in the same way.
4. Take the new Whirlpool W11087199 COVR-INLET out of its packaging and place it onto the appliance in the same position as the previous inlet.
5. Reattach the wire harness to the new inlet making sure to connect the wires correctly to their designated slots.
6. Secure the Whirlpool W11087199 COVR-INLET with the two screws that were used to remove the old inlet and tighten them until the cover is firmly held in place.
7. Test the inlet to make sure that it is working correctly by plugging the machine back into its power supply and running it through its cycle.
8. If the new cover inlet is functioning correctly, you have successfully replaced the Whirlpool W11087199 COVR-INLET.
