Step 1: Unplug the fridge and remove all food items.
Step 2: Remove the screws on the door panel surrounding the handle.
Step 3: Pull the panel away from the fridge and set aside.
Step 4: Locate the screws that hold the handle in place and remove them.
Step 5: Pull the old handle away from the door and discard.
Step 6: Place the new Whirlpool W11044488 handle in position and secure it with the screws from the previous step.
Step 7: Reattach the door panel to the fridge and reinsert the screws.
Step 8: Plug the fridge back in and reopen the door to ensure the handle is correctly fitted.
