This Dishwasher Circulation Pump rotates inside the bottom of the appliance to disperse water through the lower spray arm during the cleaning cycle. If your appliance’s current circulation pump has gone bad, the spray arm won’t receive adequate water and your dishes will not be cleaned properly. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. If your Whirlpool dishwasher is leaking or the circulation pump & motor isn't running, it may be time to replace it. Replacing the W11032770 Whirlpool dishwasher circulation pump & motor can easily be done at home if you have the right tools and know-how. This easy DIY guide will provide clear step-by-step instructions on how to safely and effectively replace your dishwasher's circulation pump & motor.

Tools Needed:
-Towel
-Phillips screwdriver
-Small flat head screwdriver
-Pliers
-W11032770 circulation pump & motor

Step 1: First, switch off the power to the dishwasher by unplugging it from the wall. Use a towel to protect your hands and then remove the base panel of your dishwasher.

Step 2: Carefully pry off the front cover of the dishwasher with a small flat-head screwdriver. Be sure not to damage any wiring in the process.

Step 3: You should now be able to see the circulation pump & motor. Remove the Phillips screw holding the pump & motor in place and then use your pliers to disconnect the old pump & motor's power cables.

Step 4: Take the new W11032770 circulation pump & motor and connect the power cables with your pliers. Secure it in place with the Phillips screw.

Step 5: Reattach the front cover of the dishwasher and secure it with a few screws.

Step 6: Finally, reattach the base panel of the dishwasher and then plug it back in.
