W10752283 Whirlpool Washer Washplate
This Top Load Washer Washplate is located in the bottom of the spin basket and turns back and forth to fully circulate laundry through the water during the wash cycle. If your washer isn’t spinning properly and begins making an unusual noise, replacing this part may allevaite these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. 1. Begin by unplugging the washer from its power supply.
2. Remove the back panel of the washer and locate the W10752283 Whirlpool Washer Washplate.
3. Carefully disconnect the two wires connected to the washplate, using needle-nose pliers to grip and remove any clips if necessary.
4. Take out the four screws attaching the plate to the washer.
5. Lift the plate out and discard it.
6. Place the new W10752283 Whirlpool Washer Washplate in the same position as the old one.
7. Secure the plate with the screws you removed earlier.
8. Reattach the two wires to the appropriate terminals on the washplate.
9. Replace the back panel.
10. Plug the washer back into its power supply and turn on the washer to test its functionality.
