Grab the necessary tools.
1. Unplug the appliance from the power source and shut off the water supply.
2. Remove screws from the outer door panel to access the inside of the oven.
3. Disconnect any wires attached to the tray-cook.
4. Remove the tray-cook from the oven.
5. Inspect the tray-cook for any damages or problems.
6. Install the new tray-cook in the oven, making sure that it is securely attached.
7. Connect any wires needed to the new tray-cook.
8. Replace the outer door panel and screws used to secure it.
9. Plug in the appliance to the power source and turn on the water supply.
10. Test the replacement of the Whirlpool W10587374 TRAY-COOK by running the cycle and inspecting for proper performance.
