Instructions for Replacing a 5305514872 4" Dia. Dryer 90 Degree Close Vent Elbow by Electrolux Frigidaire
1. Turn off the power to the dryer. Unplug it from the electrical socket and/or switch off the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the existing vent elbow from the back of the dryer. Begin by unscrewing the screws that secure the elbow to the back of the dryer.
3. Disconnect the end of the vent hose that is connected to the elbow by loosening the clamps holding the hose in place. Pull the vent hose off of the elbow.
4. Install the new vent elbow. Start by inserting the new elbow on to the end of the vent hose. Make sure to firmly press the elbow onto the vent hose.
5. Secure the elbow to the back of the dryer with the screws that were removed. After tightening the screws, test the connection to make sure it's secure.
6. Turn the circuit breaker or plug the dryer back into the electrical outlet and test the dryer to ensure the vent elbow replacement was successful.
