Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Open the back of the refrigerator and locate the PC board.
Step 3: Remove the wires connected to the PC board. Make sure to note which wires go where so you don’t get confused with the new board.
Step 4: Unscrew or unbolt the old PC board and carefully remove it.
Step 5: Place the new board in the same location and secure it with screws or bolts.
Step 6: Reconnect the wires to the new PC board using the notes you took earlier.
Step 7: Plug your refrigerator back into the wall outlet and turn it on to test that it works properly.
Step 8: If everything is working properly, close the back of the refrigerator and enjoy your appliance.
