DIY Instructions for Replacing the Frigidaire 5304519906 Motor & Pump Assembly
1. Unplug the power cord from your appliance and turn off the water supply to the dishwasher.
2. Carefully pull the appliance away from the wall and, using a flathead screwdriver, remove the access panel that is located at the bottom of the dishwasher.
3. Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, disconnect the wires connected to the old motor and pump assembly.
4. Remove the four screws securing the unit in place, then carefully lift out the old motor/pump assembly.
5. Secure the new motor and pump assembly in the same position with the screws removed earlier and reconnect the wires to the new motor.
6. Place the access panel back in its original position, secure it with the screwdriver, and reestablish the power and water connection to the appliance.
7. Test to make sure the motor/pump is working correctly before restoring power to the appliance.
