DIY Guide to Replacing Frigidaire 5304514107 Controller Kit
1. Start by unplugging the refrigerator from the wall outlet.
2. Open the fridge door and then remove all the items inside.
3. Take out the contents of the freezer, if applicable.
4. Unscrew the screws that hold the back wall panel in place and then remove it.
5. Locate the Frigidaire 5304514107 Controller Kit. It is usually found near the bottom, behind the evaporator coil.
6. Disconnect the wires from the controller kit and then unscrew any mounting screws that are holding the kit in place.
7. Remove the old controller kit and discard it.
8. Insert the new controller kit and secure it with the mounting screws.
9. Reconnect the wires to the new controller kit and make sure that all electrical connections are secure.
10. Put the back wall panel back into place and then screw it in.
11. Replace all the items you had taken out in the beginning and plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet.
12. Turn the refrigerator back on and test it to make sure the controller kit is working correctly.
