1. Unplug or turn off the electrical circuit to the Speed Queen 205225 ASSY DISPENSER-FABRIC SOFTENER before beginning the replacement process.
2. Pull out the plastic receptacle by rotating it counterclockwise, then remove the mounting screws that secure the softener dispenser in place.
3. Slide out the old softener dispenser carefully and disconnect the wires connected to it.
4. Take the new Speed Queen 205225 ASSY DISPENSER-FABRIC SOFTENER and connect the electrical wires to it.
5. Place the softener dispenser into the receptacle and mount the screws firmly but make sure not to overtighten them.
6. Securely attach the receptacle back onto the washer by rotating it clockwise.
7. Plug or turn on the electrical circuit to the Speed Queen 205225 ASSY DISPENSER-FABRIC SOFTENER and ensure that there are no leaks from the connection.
8. Test the fabric softener dispenser by adding the required amount of fabric softener and run a short cycle.
