Step 1: Unplug the Washer – Before beginning any repair, ensure that the washer is unplugged from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Remove the Control Panel – To remove the control panel, unscrew the screws around the sides and bottom of the panel, then carefully pull the panel off to access the control assembly.
Step 3: Disconnect Wires – Before removing the old control assembly, disconnect the wires from the back of the assembly by carefully pulling them away from the clips.
Step 4: Install New Control Assembly – Place the new 204065P Speed Queen Washer Control Assembly onto the control panel and reconnect the wires. Tighten the screws to secure the assembly.
Step 5: Re-Attach Control Panel – Gently slide the control panel back into place and tighten the screws to secure the control panel in place.
Step 6: Plug the Washer In – Finally, plug the washer back into the wall outlet to test the new control assembly.
