Step 1: Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Step 2: Remove the screws that are located along the back of the machine using a Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 3: Lift up the top cover of the machine to access the tub cover.
Step 4: Remove the screws that are holding in the tub cover, using a Phillips head screwdriver or a socket wrench.
Step 5: Lift out the old tub cover and insert the new Speed Queen 202888 ASSY,TUB COVER (HOME).
Step 6: Secure the tub cover with the screws that you removed earlier.
Step 7: Replace the top cover and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
Step 8: Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
Step 9: Test the machine to make sure that the new Speed Queen 202888 ASSY,TUB COVER (HOME) is functioning properly.
