Step 1: Gather the materials needed to replace the Samsung DE81-04983A SVC-MEMBRANE PANEL KIT. This includes a new panel, a Phillips head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver.
Step 2: Turn off your appliance and unplug it from the power source before beginning the repair process.
Step 3: Remove the four screws located on the rear of the appliance with the Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 4: Carefully remove the old membrane panel from the appliance and set aside.
Step 5: Place the new membrane panel in place and secure it with the four screws that were just removed. Make sure the panel is flush against the appliance before re-tightening the screws.
Step 6: Using the flathead screwdriver, loosen the screws around the edges of the appliance and carefully lift the panel away from the appliance.
Step 7: Place the new membrane panel in the same position as the old one and carefully tighten the screws around the edges.
Step 8: Plug the appliance back into the power source and turn it on.
