DIY Instructions for Replacing the Samsung DE81-03504A SVC-KNOB-DIAL Assembly
Replacing the Samsung DE81-03504A SVC-KNOB-DIAL assembly is a relatively simple DIY project. The following guidelines will help you to successfully complete this task.
Step 1: Unplug the appliance and any other components connected to it.
Step 2: Remove the mounting screws of the control panel. To do this, remove the screws located on the underside of the top of the appliance.
Step 3: Gently pull the control panel away from the frame of the appliance.
Step 4: Disconnect the electrical wires connected to the back of the control panel. For safety reasons, take a picture of the wiring before disconnecting it.
Step 5: Identify the Samsung DE81-03504A SVC-KNOB-DIAL assembly. It is located on the back of the control panel.
Step 6: Remove the mounting screws of the knob dial assembly and set aside.
Step 7: Carefully remove the knob dial assembly from the control panel.
Step 8: Install the new knob dial assembly onto the control panel. Make sure that all the mounting screws are securely tightened.
Step 9: Reconnect the electrical wires to the back of the control panel. Double check that each wire is in the correct position as referenced in the picture taken in Step 4.
Step 10: Place the control panel back onto the frame and secure with the mounting screws.
Step 11: Plug the appliance and any other components back into the outlet.
