Tools and Materials Needed:
-Philips head screwdriver
-DD61-00465A Samsung Dishwasher Installation Bracket
Step 1: Unplug the dishwasher from its power source. Even while not in use, the electrical components of a dishwasher carry a live current. Unplugging the machine ensures your safety, and prevents any damage to the appliance.
Step 2: Using the Phillips head screwdriver, loosen and remove the screws holding the existing installation bracket in place. You may need to use some force, as the screws may have become very tight over time.
Step 3: Take the old installation bracket off and discard it.
Step 4: Place the new DD61-00465A Samsung Dishwasher Installation Bracket into position, directly above the mounting holes where the old bracket was.
Step 5: Secure the new installation bracket with the screws you removed in Step 2. Do not over tighten, as you could strip the screws or damage the bracket.
Step 6: Plug your Samsung dishwasher back into its power source, and test the installation bracket by running a cycle.
