Materials Needed:

-Flathead screwdriver
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Ratchet and socket set

Instructions:

1. Disconnect the power to the washing machine before starting.

2. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screws holding down the appliance's top corner trim. Remove the trim and set aside.

3. Locate the two screws on the back of the appliance that hold the rear panel in place. Unscrew these with a Phillips head screwdriver. Lift the panel off the appliance and set aside.

4. Using a ratchet and socket set, remove the four bolts from the flange shaft that's located at the bottom left corner of the machine housing.

5. Pull the old flange shaft out of the machine and discard it.

6. Take the new replacement Samsung DC97-14370H Assy Flange Shaft and drop it into place. Make sure it is firmly seated and aligned correctly.

7. Replace the four bolts and tighten them down with the ratchet and socket set.

8. Replace the rear panel and secure it with the two screws.
