Replacing the DC61-01257L Samsung Washer Hanger Spring
Tools Needed:
Phillips Head Screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Unplug the washer from its power source before starting the repair.
2. Remove the back cover of the washer. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws located at the bottom of the panel.
3. Once the back panel is removed, locate the spring on the back side of the washer drum.
4. Pull the hanger end of the spring off from it’s pin.
5. Remove the old spring and replace with a new one.
6. Replace the back panel and secure with screws.
7. Plug in the washer and test the spring to ensure it works properly.
