DC47-00015A Samsung Dryer 250V Thermostat

Step 1: Shut off the power supply. Unplug the dryer from the wall to ensure that all power to the unit is turned off.

Step 2: Disconnect the dryer from the venting system, and pull it away from the wall so you are able to access the rear of the machine.

Step 3: Locate the old thermostat. There will be two or three wires connected to the device.

Step 4: Remove the wires from the terminals of the old thermostat. Pull the wires away from the terminal, and unhook the screws that hold the thermostat in place.

Step 5: Place the new DC47-00015A Samsung Dryer 250V THERMOSTAT into the same spot where the old one was located.

Step 6: Reconnect the wires to their respective terminals on the new thermostat, making sure to tighten the screws securely.

Step 7: Push the dryer back against the wall and make sure that the venting system is tightly connected.

Step 8: Plug the dryer back into the wall and turn on the power supply.

Step 9: Test the new thermostat by running a cycle in the dryer. Make sure that the temperature is reaching the desired levels.

Step 10: Once everything is set up and tested, you can replace the back panel of the dryer to secure the new thermostat.
