Replacing the Samsung DA97-08064A ASSY COVER DAMPER REF
1. Unplug your refrigerator and move it away from the wall, so you can access all sides of the unit.
2. Locate the damper control assembly. It is usually located at the top right corner of the refrigerator compartment near the light switch.
3. Remove the old damper control assembly by unscrewing the screws that secure it to the fridge.
4. Install the new damper control assembly in the same location, making sure to line up the mounting holes. Secure the assembly with the screws.
5. Plug in your refrigerator and turn on the power.
6. Open and close the refrigerator door to test the operation of the new damper control assembly. If it is not working properly, double check all the connections for the damper control assembly.
7. If the new damper control assembly is working properly, replace any insulation or components that were removed.
8. Move the refrigerator back into place against the wall.
