Tools You Will Need
Before you start, make sure you have the following tools:
• Phillips screwdriver
• Hex wrench
• Putty knife
• New Door Gasket (Samsung DA63-06537B)
Instructions
1. Unplug your refrigerator’s power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the mounting screws located around the outside of the door’s frame.
3. Carefully lift the door off its hinges and set it down on a flat surface.
4. Use a hex wrench to remove the screws that secure the old gasket in place.
5. Once all the screws have been removed, use a putty knife to carefully pry the old gasket away from the doorframe.
6. Inspect the doorframe and clean off any debris with a soft cloth.
7. Attach the new gasket to the doorframe by inserting the screws. Secure them tightly with the hex wrench.
8. Line up the doorframe on the refrigerator and carefully ease it back onto its hinges.
9. Secure the doorframe with the mounting screws and tighten using the Phillips screwdriver.
