Step 1: Shut off power to the refrigerator. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall, or turn off power to the refrigerator at the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Remove the top hinge and any screws holding the FRONT FIXER-UPPER in place. Be sure to keep any screws you remove in a safe place for later use.
Step 3: Disconnect the wires from the FRONT FIXER-UPPER and remove it from the refrigerator.
Step 4: Place the new Samsung DA61-11417A FRONT FIXER-UPPER in place and reconnect the wires.
Step 5: Secure the new Samsung DA61-11417A FRONT FIXER-UPPER in place with screws if needed.
Step 6: Turn on the power to the refrigerator and test that the Samsung DA61-11417A FRONT FIXER-UPPER is working properly.
Step 7: Once you’ve tested the Samsung DA61-11417A FRONT FIXER-UPPER and it is properly functioning, replace the top hinge, if applicable.
