Replacing the DA34-00066C Samsung Refrigerator Interlock Door Switch
Tools Needed:
• Power drill
• Flathead screwdriver
• Philips head screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet.
2. Open the refrigerator door and remove all items in the way of the interlock door switch.
3. Locate the two screws on the bottom side of the refrigerator door panel that hold the interlock door switch in place. Unscrew these using a flathead screwdriver.
4. Slide the interlock door switch out of its slot using a power drill.
5. Disconnect the 3 electrical wires connected to the existing interlock door switch by releasing the retaining clips with a Philips head screwdriver.
6. Connect the 3 electrical wires to the new interlock door switch.
7. Carefully slide the new interlock door switch into its slot and secure with the screws.
8. Plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet and test the new interlock door switch.
