Step 1: Unplug the DA34-00004D Samsung Refrigerator from its power source.
Step 2: Locate and remove the air filter cover located on the back side of the refrigerator.
Step 3: Remove the screws holding the evaporator cover in place and pull the cover aside.
Step 4: Disconnect the three wires connecting the compressor to the overload protector. These wires run from the compressor to the relay.
Step 5: Remove the relay from the refrigerator by unscrewing its mounting screws.
Step 6: Install the new relay in the same position as the old one. You will need to reconnect the three wires connecting the compressor to the new relay.
Step 7: Reattach the evaporator cover, making sure to secure it with the screws you removed in step three.
Step 8: Replace the air filter cover and plug the refrigerator back into its power source.
