Step 1: Shut off power to your refrigerator and unplug it from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Locate the EBG61108912 LG thermistor temperature sensor assembly located in the back top-right corner of the refrigerator's interior.
Step 3: Gently pull it out from the housing and disconnect the two wiring clips connected to the sensor.
Step 4: Cut the existing wires and strip them to expose the copper at the end.
Step 5: Attach the new EBG61108912 LG thermistor temperature sensor assembly using the same wiring clips that were previously disconnected.
Step 6: Connect the two new wires together and secure them with electrical tape.
Step 7: Place the new assembly into the housing and plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet.
Step 8: Restore power to the refrigerator and check to ensure the thermistor temperature sensor is working correctly.
