1. Unplug the power cord on the back of the LG refrigerator.
2. Locate the water filter on the back wall of the unit.
3. Push in the filter release tab and pull the old filter out.
4. Take the new filter – the ADQ73613401 – out of its packaging.
5. Remove the protective cap from the end of the filter.
6. Insert the filter into the compartment until it clicks into place.
7. Push the filter release tab to lock the filter into position.
8. Reconnect the power cord to the fridge.
9. Run water through the water dispenser until the water runs clear.
10. Dispose of the packaging from the old filter and the new filter properly.
