Replacing the 5230W1A012E LG Microwave Grease Filter
The 5230W1A012E LG microwave grease filter is designed to clean exhaust air from your LG microwave. It prevents the buildup of grease and smoke in your kitchen, keeping you and your family safe and healthy. Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to replace the filter.
Step 1: Turn off the power to your LG microwave. Unplug the microwave from the wall socket, or switch off the circuit breaker for extra safety.
Step 2: Take out the old filter by pressing the tabs on either side of it. Pull it out gently.
Step 3: Clean any grime or debris from the slot where the filter was located, using a damp cloth.
Step 4: Insert the new filter into the slot. Make sure the arrows printed on the filter are pointing towards the back of the microwave. Press the tabs on either side of the filter until it is securely in place.
